NFTs have been a hot subject for a few years now.
Whether that's art, game assets, or goods representation, ... they have a wide range of use cases.
However, collectors have mainly been stuck with “static” NFTs; objects that don’t evolve with time or owners. For example, generative art that must be transformed into GIFs to be seen, losing quality, and complexity.
And if there is one thing that the digital world taught us, that the crypto world taught us, we can always go beyond that.
This is why we created BeyondNFT and the Interactive NFT format: what was at first a means for artists to create interactive and dynamic art, is now much more.
Minigames? Music or video distribution? Badges with variable data? Animated kitties that you can truly interact with? As long as you can code it, it’s possible.
You can see a few examples of interactive NFTs in the Explorer. On BeyondNFT you can interact with them, while they can also be utilized directly by users on any website with a simple embed. We are pushing for the format to be supported on on other platforms, such as OpenSea, but for now you can see them as static images.
We believe these marketplace will soon follow our open standard, Beyond what they already have.

With the possibility for developers to Code and Mint NFTs directly in the browser, on 3 different networks (Ethereum, Polygon and xDai).
BeyondNFT stores most* of the NFT's files (image, code and metadata) on IPFS. Then a connection between the Token ID in the contract (on-chain) and those files pinned on IPFS is created using a transaction. This is what makes your NFT: The token ID on chain and the files linked to it.
However, a system has been created in the contract so those Metadata can regularly be uploaded to IPFS in groups and updated easily. This, to ensure that we will always be able to decentralize all NFTs and not be dependent of Beyond.
